Year 11 Geographers Investigate Rivers & Go Caving!

To support with the unfamiliar aspect to fieldwork in Paper 3, the Year 11 Geography students travelled up to Clapham on 7th February to conduct a river study on Clapham Beck.

Students enjoyed the amazing views on the crisp, sunny day. They also learnt how to measure the cross section of a river and got to go into Ingle Borough Cave to discover real evidence for climate change and plate tectonics!
