Bradford Stories Writing Competition
Bradford Stories has launched an exciting creative writing competition based on the theme of ‘Connections’. The competition presents opportunities for entrants to have their work published in an anthology, exhibited in local cultural venues and receive books.
The closing date for entries is 12 March 2021
With the support of Harper Collins and authors Konnie Huq, Harry Heape and Sairish Hussain, Bradford Stories has launched an exciting creative writing competition based on the theme of ‘Connections’. The competition is open to primary and secondary pupils, with opportunities for entrants to have their work published in an anthology, exhibited in local cultural venues and receive books for taking part.
The competition kicked off with virtual author visits with schools groups where the authors talked about how they became writers, shared tips and readings from their books. Secondary schools session will be hosted by Bradford author Sairish Hussain and Harper Collins have provided copies of her debut novel 'The Family Tree' which are available for FREE to school groups who take part - AMAZING!
