Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. We want to make a difference. We want to create something special.

Meet the Team

Whilst in Year 7, students have a dedicated team providing them with essential pastoral care.  The partnership between parent, student and school is essential for success and, most importantly, to enable us to support students’ personal development.

- Louise Morgan: Assistant Headteacher for Personal Development

Riffat has worked within local primary and secondary schools for the last 20 years. Most of her skills come from working with students who have barriers to their learning and hard to reach families.  She joined Beckfoot Upper Heaton in September 2020 as a Climate for Learning Leader supporting first response behavior then took on the role as Personal Development Leader.  She enjoys running a variety of clubs and events especially around dance and performing arts.  She is passionate about supporting ALL students and families to make their experience at Beckfoot Upper Heaton one that helps them to fulfill their potential.
