Restart a Heart Day
Students from all year groups participated in Restart a Heart Day today. We were delighted to welcome Vicky Reynolds, Deputy Lord Lieutenant who came to see our students receive this life-saving training.
The Resuscitation Council UK along with the British Heart Foundation, British Red Cross, St John Ambulance, the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives, NHS England, Save a Life for Scotland, Save a Life Cymru, and Northern Ireland Ambulance work together to help raise awareness of cardiac arrest and teach CPR.
In 2018, an amazing 291,000 people were trained in CPR through Restart a Heart Day, and now our students have joined this number.
