The school taught students to act with integrity and kindness and they went on to demonstrate excellence in their chosen field; it was a place where all belonged.
As the Headteacher at Beckfoot Upper Heaton, I feel privileged to lead a vibrant multi-cultural school where we embrace high standards in everything we do. We are completely aligned with the Beckfoot Trust mission of ‘creating remarkable schools where no child is left behind’. It is all our responsibility to ensure we provide the highest quality of education for all students, regardless of their backgrounds. Indeed, we believe that those who have the least should be given the most. We achieve this by providing all students, and in particularly those who have the most challenging and complex backgrounds, with an ambitious curriculum to not only succeed academically, but also to support them in making a positive contribution to society. We want all our children to be prepared to live a safe, happy, and successful life.
Excellence: We work hard. We strive to be better tomorrow than today.
Integrity: We are honest. We do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.
Kindness: We work as a team. We care about others.
If you would like to find out more about our school and to arrange a visit, then please contact us on [email protected]. We look forward to meeting you.
